Solutions/Goals

The Center contains three Power Technology Thrust Areas: thermochemical engines, novel electrochemical energy, and biochemical power. Precision manufacturing resides at the enabling technology plane and is needed to realize physically the power components developing within the thrust areas. Systems control and integration blends the power technology components into an optimal personal power system module based on the power profile demanded by the selected application.
